MEET DR. LAURA KOSTRZEWSKI
Dr. Kostrzewski received her doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from Bastyr University California in June 2019, and then went on to do residency at Bastyr. She has since continued her practice and teaching at Bastyr as adjunct faculty.
Dr. Kostrzewski grew up in San Diego, CA. She completed her undergraduate degree at California Polytechnic State University, earning a BS in animal science with minors in Spanish and Psychology. She then earned her Multiple Subject Teaching Credential and taught fifth grade in the central coast of California for two years before deciding to pursue a career in naturopathic medicine in San Diego.

Dr. Kostrzewski focused her clinical training in GI health, hormone optimization, and neurodegenerative conditions. She loves working with people of all ages, in all stages of life. She is a certified Apollo Practitioner, trained in the Dr. Bredesen reversing cognitive decline program (ReCODE).
Her background in teaching helps her effectively educate her patients to empower them in their health journeys.
WHAT IS NATUROPATHIC MEDICINE?
Naturopathic medicine is a field of medicine that recognizes the body's innate ability to heal, given optimal conditions to do so. It examines root causes for disease manifestations and seeks to treat those root causes, rather than suppress symptoms. Naturopathic doctors are trained in conventional pharmacology in order to integrate conventional with naturopathic care.

A typical visit with a Naturopathic doctor (ND) involves an extensive look into everything that is part of you. Your ND can order indicated testing to diagnose conditions and offer a variety of treatment options.
